  Snow is frozen, and most children's areas are not open. But we had fun as we always do :-)

  We hired pants, boots, snow chains and toboggans today, it took us 1 hr to wait in the queue at 9am today (Saturday) and 30min for us to try n get our stuff, they dont give 2 or 3 sizes to try, they give one by one which took some time, so 1.5 hrs gone. While returning I kept half items in the shop and went back to the car to get the balance items and found one pant missing, i remembered very well i brought all the pants, the owner said i have to pay $44 for the pant, when i told him it could have got mixed up with other customers return he said he has a cctv and i can check it, when i checked the cctv footage i found the owner himself took one pant from my return and went inside to keep it, it all happened in 5 min and he didnt remember he took a pant from our lot, not sure why he did that but checking the cctv footage saved me $44 (giving 2 star for this incident as this 10min spoiled our days fun mood), a little caution to those who return, have an adult to watch over the items or dont keep few items inside the shop and goto the car to bring the balance.

  My son and I took a day trip to Mount Baw Baw, hired chains at the base of the mountain from Baw Baw Sports and Outdoors. They are close to double the price of other chain hire rentals close to the mountains, however they fit the chains which I figured was worth the money, considering I didn't know much about it myself and I wanted to ensure they were safely fitted. They fitted the chains without question and we proceeded up the hill only to be stranded halfway when our back wheels spun continually without moving. After 15 mins I was able to zig zag the rest of the way up the mountain and was then bogged in the snow in the car park when I was informed the chains were fitted on the front tyres instead of the back. I had to refit the chains on the mountain myself so that we could get back down and noticed the chains were in terrible condition. I sent an email to the company, only to receive a very arrogant and rude response from Adam at Baw Baw Sports. If you value your safety, then do not use this service..
